Design Consultation & Blueprint Review
We review your architectural plans, recommend fireplace placement and sizing, and specify the exact model, venting requirements, gas line sizing, electrical needs, and structural framing details. Your builder gets a clear spec sheet that their crew can work from — no guesswork, no rework.
Code Compliance & Permitting
Every new construction fireplace installation must meet local building codes for clearances, venting, gas supply, and fire safety. We know the codes for Jefferson County, Denver, Adams County, Boulder County, and Summit County inside and out. We coordinate inspections and make sure everything passes the first time — because a failed inspection delays the entire build.
Rough-In Coordination
We work with your framing crew to ensure the fireplace chase is framed correctly — proper dimensions, fire-rated materials, and structural support for the specific unit you've chosen. We install firestops, run gas lines, and stub out electrical during the rough-in phase so everything's ready when the fireplace goes in.
Installation & Finishing
Once the house is dried in and interior work begins, our crew installs the fireplace unit, connects venting, completes the gas and electrical hookups, and builds the surround. Whether it's floor-to-ceiling stacked stone, sleek porcelain tile, or a simple drywall return with a floating mantel — we do the finishing work ourselves so the quality is consistent from start to finish.
Final Testing & Homeowner Walkthrough
Before the final punch list, we test every component: gas connections, ignition system, safety controls, blower, remote, thermostat integration. Then we walk the homeowner through everything — because the builder shouldn't have to explain how the fireplace works. That's our job.
